Lawrence Malangis' debut collection, Untitled, unfolds in earthy browns and quiet divisions—a departure from the rigid structures of architecture. Stripped of complexity, it seeks stillness, embracing the raw and unfiltered nature of painting—meant not to be understood, only felt.

Drawn to what feels like home, he gathers flowers, leaves, coffee, mud, and other organic tints—elements of the land that carry memory. These pigments settle into layers of residual paper and books, grounding his work in the familiar. His process is natural and instinctive, letting the materials lead, allowing the act of painting to be as fluid as the landscapes he remembers.
